Diamond Music Academy

History and Motivations

In my decade of experience as a qualified Primary and SEND teacher, one of my main tools to ensure readiness for learning, well being, enjoyment and success has been Music. I have seen first hand the benefits of Music assemblies, performances, creative experiences, utilising music as therapy and developing children’s musical skills.

I created Diamond Music Academy to bring my wealth of experience to children in Primary Schools to immerse them in musical experiences that are personalised to their needs. Whether it be therapeutic, skills building, creative or confidence building, we strive to provide a service that encompasses all of these attributes.

Diamond Music Academy Ethos

The Team

At Diamond Music Academy, team work is extremely important to uphold the ethos as mentioned above. We regularly share successful practice, new initiatives and advice. Each Tutor strives to uphold the well being and readiness for learning as their priority in sessions, making them engaging and explorative. I also greatly value the importance of working in unison with parents, therefore, Diamond Music Academy is approachable, as flexible as possible and adaptable, in order to meet the needs of the children.

Founder & Music Tutor

Jemma

I live with my husband and three children in Narborough, but grew up in Whetstone. I had many hobbies as a child, however, my main passion was learning to play instruments and anything that involved music and singing. I am thrilled that my career now enables me to play instruments every day and provide children with immersive musical experiences.
