Diamond Music Academy

Our Ethos

How does my child enrol for music lessons?

Trial Session

Firstly, your child will participate in a trial session and meet their Music Tutor. Feedback will then be provided, from which you and your child can then decide if they would like to enrol onto the weekly lessons.

How Long do lessons last?

Lesson Duration

Lessons last for 30 minutes and are provided throughout the school day and are term time only. We construct the school timetables to try to accommodate the best timings for each child.

Instruments

The Instrumental lessons that are running in schools so far (subject to availability), are Small Group Acoustic Guitar, Small Group Keyboard/ Piano and Solo Piano. We are currently in the process of also providing singing/ choir and drumming lessons. Instruments will be provided for the Trial session. There is no pressure to buy an instrument, however, if the children have their own instrument it will enable them to achieve steady progress through a continuity of skills building. Diamond Music Academy are always on hand to help to source instruments to suit budgets.

Awards

The children will be encouraged to work towards the Diamond Music Academy Awards system, which includes awards for attributes such as; Perseverance, Effort, Team Work, Performance, Skills Building and Creativity. Alongside weekly progress, by working towards these awards, the children will develop their self esteem, sense of belonging and ownership of their music learning.

Performances

Performance Assemblies will be arranged at your child’s school when appropriate and the Academy launched their first annual Music Show in 2024.
